Hi everyone have been restoring my 1964 CA for the last few years it is a LWB model one of the last of the shallow windscreen models.Have not managed to spend the time i would like to on the project having 3 young children there never seems to be enough time to do everything.
Have spent a lot of time with the grinder inside the vehicle lots of cutting and welding, sills inner and outer, footwells wheelarches repaired, floor supports, rear floor cut out, inner and outer rear arches, and a large section of the roof was cut out and replaced with a section i got from Gary.If i had the room it would have been easier to have had a donor van to use for salvage.
On the plus side all the doors,os front wing and front panel are done and the seats have been recovered.
The van is in my father in laws garage so will take some more pics when i get a chance.

Your van is coming along great Malcolm just like Dave has said. I know it’s a huge job youv’e taken on, but it will get finished one day and you’ll enjoy it just like the rest of us CA owners. Keep up the good work and keep us informed. By the way, I thought you were going to pop down to my house for the day? 😀

      Hi Gaz
Apologies for not getting in touch have been busy with the van (for a change) finished painting the cab, also made some new eyebrows for above the headlights got a shot of a bead roller, took me a whole day to make them but am pleased with the result, will take some pics over the weekend.
Trying to sell the Land Rover at the moment to free up some room may stick it on ebay if it does not sell, can come down soon if the roof is in your way, trying to make the best of the good weather while it lasts.
      Regards Malcolm
