      Hi
      well i have swaped the back axil
      on our CA pick up
      it now has a volvo 940 in it with disk brakes
      and we are getting 37 to 40 mpg
      the pick up has a 4 speed box
      it was quite a easy job
      it only took a weekend
      30 mph is 1200 rpm in top gear

          standard 1500
          I was thinking about a 1.9 or 2 ltr opal cam in head
          with 5 speed gear box
          but the 1500 is just fine
          for me its all about being abel to keep up with morden trafick thats all
          so 65/70 on the motor way is all we need
          it is used as a parts hauler for the other projects

            got any pictures of the conversion? Id like to see this. When you say easy, what did you have to do?
