    Hi All

We have just aquired a bedford debonair as a restoration project, she had been left in a field for over a year. After a good wash she’s still looking pretty sad.
Found someone who we think can sort out the engine and mechanical parts but struggling with the body work,
Dont know where t start with the fibreglass n she needs exterior mirrors, interior visors, sky light cover, front grill and rubber trims for all windows and doors

Would love t post a photo but when leaning on it to pose th side caved in!

Please help save my ‘Debbie’ shes a damsel in distress who wants to go t Glastonbury next year t find herself!

Any advice or suggestions would be gratefully received n thanks for taking the time to read this.

    Kind regards

    Kenali

    Hi

Your first stop should be http://www.ebay.co.uk and start searching for Bedford bits. Define a search for Bedford CA parts so you get e-mails daily with lists of parts being sold.

There’s some very rare Romany glass fibre panels going at the moment — only a day left at the time of writing, but they haven’t been sold for several weeks now.
    Check this link:

Otherwise Adrian Bailey is a good source of Bedford CA parts (contact him via http://www.roverland.eu)
Pete Dobbs also has a number of Bedford parts, including mirrors, but I don’t want to publish his e-mail here without permission, so drop me a line.

I have a spare grill, and my restorers Minor Miracles in Devon might be able to help with other bits. They’re putting the finishing touches to my 1966 Workobus.

Colin, that’s a fine job they are doing for you (saw the link on your eBay door for sale today) she will look brand new when done!

I have a load of mechanical parts that I need to sell, tons of stuff if anyone is interested…

    Cheers

    John 😉
