I have the same 10L bottles Michel has, from the “Jumbo” chain of hardware-and-hobby stores. They make great drums for the young’uns when they’re bored at the campsite! They do drip, a bit, so I turn them upright when they’re not in use.
I spent the last week stripping previous-owner paint from my rusty wardrobe. Unfortunately some of the original enamel was damaged, so I will have to sand and repaint.
Does anyone have a tip for getting the “hammered” finish from a can of Hammerite or equivalent silver paint?
Yesterday I replaced the window channels on the roof side in the hope of installing the wardrobe maybe next weekend. One of the window locks isn’t fully tight on the window, but its screw is frozen in place. I might have to drill the screw out in order to fit another one.
Two steps forward and one step back!
