You should always try and see a vehicle before thinking about buying, it may look pretty on the outside, but could be totally rusted on the inside, only a poke with a screwdriver will tell you this. If it rusted then you will need to weld, and be able to do metal work, or have deep pockets. Sometimes its better to spend £3000 on a restored vehicle with a history than £1000 on a dog which then needs a further £3000 spending to make it look like a restored vehicle!!!
