Should add the pictures were of Ian’s (“Dormy”) Dormobile not mine as I had lost 2nd gear selection on the way to the event.
Ian did drive me and a Carawagon’s owner round the complete course for 45 minutes earlier in the day and the weight uptop made surprisingly little difference, although after a galvanised chassis transplant, he had not had time to refit the cooker & wardrobe units (and the spice rack was empty) and we did not cross steep side slopes just in case.
Also more difficult to ground out than I would have thought.
Ian’s approach to the course was “enthusiastic” and both driver & passengers had broad smiles all the way round, as did the spectators.
