Hello guys, the fuel guage on old Billy is also pretty accurate as brim full the needle is on F and when he splutters it is on E !
That happened only once so we always top up on about 1/4 full, that gives us chance to stop for a brew anyway which is nice as there is never any rush when we go driving Billy.
The speedo was checked with a Sat Nav and found to be quite inaccurate though…
At indicated 70 mph he was really doing 59 mph
At 60 51
At 50 42
At 40 34
At 30 26
We have the 185 by 14 radials and a 4 speed gearbox fitted.
