congratulations on your Dormobile! Are you sure you don’t just want to put the Defender drivetrain and engine in the 109? It would look so much better ;^) and brakes are easy to fix.
My front seat installation involved a change from RHD to LHD, which is where the difficulties lay. Otherwise I’d have simply taken the seats on the seatbox, warts and all.
