I have been told by the better half that we have to go to Chamonix, so we will no doubt continue over the Forclaz pass into Switzerland. Been told I should have a look at the Matterhorn and then drive back into France over the Great St Bernard pass. Got a Landy mate who lives not far from here, but has an apartment near to Chamonix. he is giving me lots of advice on where to go. He, and his wife, are skiers and hill runners, climbers, walkers and campers, so have been most places in this area over the years. He is supposed to be sending me info on where to stay with our Dormobile. Still hoping to do the odd night wild camp,but expect to spend most nights on camp sites.
