HI Tony
What a glorious noise, the crack of leather on willow. I know all of those things you mention, but not really the sort of things you visit on holiday in a Dormobile. I’m sure Roger would be over the moon if all us lot turned up and camped in his garden!!!
Anyway, It seam your knowledge of Yorkshire is as poor as my knowledge of Switzerland. I’m not going to list all the good things about Yorkshire because I do not have all night, and definitely do not want to encourage any more visitors. Too many here already eating all our Wensleydale cheese and drink all our Black Sheep beer.
Louise and I would love to come again to Switzerland again. 5 years ago we drove through Geneva and I witnessed the most appalling driving. This woman was so busy looking at all the building that she failed to realise the traffic had stopped. Only at the last minute did she realise and slammed on the brakes. Lucky for her she was in a Classic Range Rover and it stopped very quickly, avoiding a collision. The two vans behind her also managed to stop, but the L322 Range Rover behind them only stopped when it ploughed into the second van. The woman said “oopps” and quickly drove away. Woman drivers!!!
Apart from that incident, Geneva looked just like it does in the ‘Champions’. Nice fountain! This holiday, we will probably have a look around the town and this time I will drive!
The good news is, I finished making the wardrobe this evening, apart from fitting the hinges. That’s only because I don’t have any yet.
Cheers Mick
