Well, I my dad managed to speak with a local mechanic who used to look after a fleet of Bedfords back when they were new and he has informed me that it is quite probably just from condensation and it being winter, so phew for the mean time and hopefully it’ll be ok!
I’d still be interested to find out what engines work in a CA though.
