The van is great for sleeping in except for the first night, before we bought the self-inflating mattress, from Go-outdoors.
You can feel every hinge, lump, bump and spring, on the seats, until the mattress makes them all go away.
My eldest son (7) loves his bunk, “upstairs” but psycho-son (nearly 3) can’t be trusted up there, yet, so he’s in with us, at the moment.
The awning is absolutely essential, for the toilet, clothes and all the tat that you need, with kids, especially as we prefer the tiny sites, with limited facilities.
