Bea’s awning rail is bolted on with little brass BA bolts. I have just purchased some little stainless BA bolts to do exactly the same on Barney.
At leafer at ‘t pit there was a chap with a Fiama caravanstore awning on his landy. These fit onto a standard awning rail and everything rolls up into a bag. The side rails and legs fold out of the front rail. The legs can also fit into clips fitted to the vehicles bodywork. Great peice of kit, but the design and colours are terrible IMHO. Not to be used at classic events, but great when you are travelling and want to eat your lunch in the shade. Another down side is they seam to hold their value. Been looking on ebay, but they seam to sell for big bucks.
