I don’t know what is “original”. I have an Avon spare on my SIII and it is a very heavy, deep-treaded tractor tire that I imagine would not be very comfortable or fuel-efficient on the road. New 16X7.5’s seem to be very expensive.
When the time comes, I will look for a used set of 16 x 7.5 from a Defender 110. These sets can often be found in good condition for 100-150 EUR as the owners switch the stock tires for balloon tires and spoked wheels.
You see I’m being practical, but I won’t have much money left after my chassis, fuel tank, doors, sill frames, bulkhead, …
