1967 Dormobile for sale (Berks)

Hi all,

I have a '67 Bedford CA Romany for sale (offers) - very low mileage, 1600cc, rare 4 speed box. Body in reasonable condition but has some rust that will not take much to fix. Pop top canvas in good condition, as are seats. However, it is missing the skylight (broken in a storm) & front passenger door window is perspex. Will also need a new battery. Tyres excellent. Currently on SORN (although it's tax free) with original plates. Have full V5.

Currently parked in a yard just outside Reading & will need appointment to view. Drove here there but she's been sitting for a while so would advise removal on trailer

Please contact me via here & I can provide more details for viewing. Would be a simple winter project to have her usable for spring - will go on ebay next week if I don't get any response from here. I have photos but will not have access to them for another couple of days.

really sorry for the delay in replying - have been travelling (& avoiding the UK winter! ) & haven't had Internet connection. Can't find my pics of the van but still looking. If I can't find them in the next couple of days I'll get a friend to pop round & take some pics of her. Price is negotiable - would be good to see her go to a good home.

in response to the above, this is the only place I have advertised but will be uploading pics elsewhere today.

I've dug out the pics & uploaded them to photobucket. The easiest way is to just link to the whole directory:

Apart from general pics, there is also:

* pic of the odometer showing what I believe to be the original mileage (in addition to the overall condition, I have quite a number of previous MOTs & these support this as being correct)
* pic of rust in sill on driver's side
* pic of dent on rear pillar

Please bear in mind that these pics were taken 2 years ago & she has stood since then. Also remembered that one of the hammock beds has a tear. Because she is stored at a business, I want to avoid too many "tyre kickers" & have tried to be as accurate as possible with information on this thread. If you are seriously interested, I would recommend viewing so please contact me directly and I can arrange it with the place where she is stored (just outside Reading). Regarding price, I am open to sensible offers - I am realistic but these are getting harder to find & she has extremely low mileage for her age.
